- created · Alan Rennie 29 Oct 2025 08:30Hi, we're getting to grips with the brain and want to build some custom dashboards for our account managers. I've had a look at the builder but I'm not quite sure where to start. What's the best approach for a first dashboard?
- public_reply · Connor Webb 29 Oct 2025 13:33Hi Alan, Great question. For a first dashboard, I'd recommend starting simple, pick one data source like your CRM and build around that. I'll send you a quick guide and a template dashboard that shows what's possible. Have a play with it and let me know what questions come up. Best, Connor
- public_reply · Alan Rennie 31 Oct 2025 11:55Thanks Connor. I've had a look at the template. Question, can we combine fields from two different tables in a single chart? For example, account name from our CRM plus ticket count from the helpdesk?
- public_reply · Connor Webb 4 Nov 2025 10:53Exactly right. You'll need to set up a join first. The join expression in the builder lets you link tables on a common ID, then you can pull fields from both into one chart. Give it a try with account ID as the join key, and shout if you hit any snags. Best, Connor
