What it says
What this says
Current to 13 Oct 26Final QBR deck presented 15 Sep 2026 by Daniel Okafor. It shows an Enterprise account in good standing: usage steady, one ticket, no overdue invoices. The main gaps are a narrow user base against 150 licensed users and no written value case.
What it is: a customer-facing quarterly business review prepared by Daniel Okafor, Customer Success Manager, with Priya Raman named as account owner. It is marked Final and was presented on 15 Sep 2026.
Commits: it restates the position rather than creating terms. It lists Enterprise tier, 150 licensed users and a current term ending 30 Jun 2027, and says service commitments remain "as written in the executed order form".
Unusual: the deck gives £125k as "Contracted annual recurring revenue", which is a figure stated in this deck, not an order form. It also gives usage only in words, with no counts of active users or questions asked.
Not settled: who at Fenmoor owns the value measures, which teams to bring in next, and whether the user allowance fits actual need. The deck says the missing value case is "the missing piece" ahead of renewal.

Fenmoor is a City managing general agent writing marine cargo and professional indemnity for Lloyd's syndicates. The brain was bought so that underwriting operations can answer capacity providers' oversight questions from one view of submissions, bordereaux queries, claims tickets and CRM activity.

The account is in good standing commercially. Payments are on time and nothing is outstanding.
Usage: the headline
- Average daily active users over the last thirty days are up slightly on the prior quarter.
- That is a steady picture rather than a step change. The brain is in regular use by a core group of underwriting operations staff.
- Against the 150 licensed users, the active group is a small share of the allowance. This is headroom, not a problem, but it is the main thing to talk about today.
| Measure | Reading |
|---|---|
| Active users, thirty-day average | Slightly up on prior quarter |
| Licensed users | 150 |
| Share of licence in daily use | Small, with plenty of room |
How is the team finding it? From the conversations we have had, the people who use it daily rely on it. The open question is how to bring in the colleagues who have not yet made it part of their working week.
Usage: where the headroom is
The Enterprise licence covers a company-wide population. Today the brain is concentrated in underwriting operations. Teams that could benefit from the same single view include:
- Claims handlers who field capacity providers' questions about open claims
- Underwriters preparing for oversight reviews
- Finance and bordereaux colleagues who reconcile submissions against what has been reported
- Senior management who want a quick answer without asking for a report
We have not seen evidence in the usage records that these groups are asking questions today. That is a gap in the data we hold, and we would like Fenmoor's view on where the real demand sits before we suggest anything.
Support and service
| Measure | Last thirty days |
|---|---|
| Tickets raised | One |
| High-priority tickets | None |
| Service misses | None recorded |
One ticket in the period is a quiet month. For a customer on the Enterprise tier with a stable user base, that reads as health rather than silence, because usage is holding and no one has reported stale data or a source that has stopped loading.
Service commitments for Enterprise remain as written in the executed order form. Nothing in the period has come near a service credit.
Value: what the brain is doing for Fenmoor
The reason Fenmoor bought the brain is to answer oversight questions quickly and consistently. What we can say from the evidence we hold:
- The brain is used regularly and usage is not falling.
- Support demand is minimal, which suggests the connected sources are loading and the answers are trusted.
- The commercial relationship is clean, with no payment queries.
What we cannot yet say is how much time the underwriting operations team saves, or how often an answer from the brain has settled a question from a capacity provider. That is the missing piece of the value case. We would rather build it together than assert it.
Risks and watch points
| Watch point | Why it matters | What we will do |
|---|---|---|
| Narrow user base | A small group carries most of the value, so a departure or a reorganisation would hurt | Widen the set of people asking questions |
| No written value case | Renewal conversations are easier when the benefit is on paper | Agree two or three measures with Fenmoor |
| Renewal approaching | The term ends on 30 Jun 2027 | Plan the conversation early, not at the notice date |
None of these is urgent. They are the sort of thing that is far easier to deal with now than in the final months of the term.
Plan for the coming quarter
| Action | Owner | Timing |
|---|---|---|
| Share this review with Fenmoor's sponsor and confirm who else should see it | Daniel Okafor | This week |
| Walk through the usage picture with underwriting operations and identify teams not yet using the brain | Daniel Okafor with Fenmoor | Within the next few weeks |
| Agree the measures that will make up a written value case | Daniel Okafor with Fenmoor | By the end of the quarter |
| Review the user allowance against actual need ahead of renewal | Priya Raman | Before the next review |
I'll come back to Fenmoor with a short note on who the best candidate teams look like, based on the connected sources, so that the conversation is concrete.
Decisions and questions for Fenmoor
- Which team would you most like to see using the brain next?
- Who should own the value measures on the Fenmoor side?
- Is there anything about the connected sources or the nightly refresh that the team would like changed?
Thank you
Thank you for your time and for the steady working relationship since go-live. If anything in this deck does not match what you are seeing day to day, please tell me and I will correct it.
Best wishes, Daniel
