Current to 13 Oct 26Kofi Asamoah asks Dominic Hale to remove the leasing-system connector for good because the client list now arrives by another route. Indexed records stay. The billing ledger connector is planned for removal in September.
Ask: Kofi wants the leasing-system connector removed rather than left failing each night, and wants to keep the indexed history Gemma Thorne's team use in client reviews.
Customer view: Dominic confirmed the records stay and only new data stops arriving. Kofi said that was what he needed to hear.
Next: Dominic confirms the removal and a clean load, then agrees the September day for the billing ledger connector. Kofi will tell Gemma and check the mappings.

- Kofi Asamoah 14 Jul 2026 08:53Hi Dominic, I'd like to check one thing before I change anything on our side. We've decided to stop loading from the leasing system into the brain for good. The client list now comes through a different route, so the connector is no longer needed and I'd rather it was removed than left failing quietly each night. The billing ledger connector is the same story, but that one needs to stay until the month-end process is changed, so I'm expecting to ask for it to go later in the year. Two questions. Can you remove the leasing-system connector from our brain, and is anything we've already indexed from it going to disappear or stay as it is? I don't want to lose the history Gemma's team use in client reviews. Cheers, Kofi
- Dominic Hale 16 Jul 2026 11:59Hi Kofi, Thanks for the detail. I've taken ownership of this and I've copied Amara so she has the picture on the account side. Here's what we know. The leasing-system connector can be removed as you describe, and once it's removed it won't be switched back on without a fresh request from you. The records already indexed from it stay in your brain, so the history your client reviews use will still be there. What stops is any new data arriving from that source. For the billing ledger connector, agreed that it stays in place for now. Let's plan for it to be removed in September, and I'll confirm the exact day with you nearer the time so it lands after your month-end. Next update by end of day tomorrow, once the leasing-system removal has been done and I've checked last night's load is clean without it. Thanks, Dominic
- Kofi Asamoah 16 Jul 2026 12:19Hi Dominic, That's clear, thank you. Keeping the indexed records is what I needed to hear. So to confirm: leasing-system connector removed for good, billing ledger connector follows in September. I'll tell Gemma today so nobody is surprised by a source disappearing from the list. I'll also look at the mappings once it's gone, in case anything pointed at it. Cheers, Kofi
