Current to 14 Oct 26Mats Eklund, CFO, asked for the return on the £1,216 expansion and its effect on renewal before signing. Tom Ashdown replied late, after the 9 Feb 2026 date had slipped, and promised usage figures and written renewal terms.
Ask: Mats wants numbers first: the return on the expansion and whether it changes the renewal, for the e-commerce budget file.
Customer view: the CFO is questioning value before signing. Tom's reply came five days later and did not give a return figure.
Next: Tom committed to usage figures this week and renewal terms in writing before the contract ends on 31 May 2026.

- Tom Ashdown 5 Feb 2026 13:06Hello Mats, As discussed with Karin, I've attached the order form for the expansion to your Enterprise agreement. The deal value on the form is £1,216. That is the total for this expansion, not an annual figure, and your existing subscription of £99,000 a year for 150 licensed users is unchanged. Could you review it and sign when you are happy? We had pencilled in 9 Feb 2026 for it to close, but no drama if you need longer. Best, Tom
- Mats Eklund 5 Feb 2026 14:33Tom, Thank you. Before I sign, send me the numbers first. What is the return on this expansion? And next year, does it change the renewal? I need a short summary for the e-commerce budget file. Mats Eklund, CFO
- Tom Ashdown 10 Feb 2026 14:29Hello Mats, Sorry for the slow reply, and for the date slipping past 9 Feb 2026. I wanted to check the detail with Marcus before writing. On the numbers: the expansion is £1,216 in total, and your contracted subscription stays at £99,000 a year until we agree otherwise. Your contract runs to 31 May 2026, so the renewal conversation comes next, and I will send you the renewal terms in writing rather than talk them through. I will confirm anything price-related in that note. Marcus can pull the usage figures for your budget file if that helps. Leave that with me and I'll get them to you this week. Best, Tom
