What it says
What this says
Current to 13 Oct 26Proposal dated 14 Oct 2024 to move from Starter to Growth when the term ends on 30 Nov 2024, at £44k a year against £20k today. It is an open proposal, not an order form. It states no availability or P1 response figures.
What it is: a version one proposal from Tom Ashdown, stored as final, for moving from Starter to Growth. It sets out "The deal amount for this expansion is £44k" and is invoiced annually in advance.
Commits: it is not executed paper. The only fixed commitment it restates is the nightly refresh complete by 07:00 on every tier. Quarterly invoicing is offered "on request".
Unusual: nothing off standard terms. The Growth allowances and service level are described only as "faster", with no figures.
Not settled: the implementation fee is left to the order form, and the text does not show whether an order form was signed. The 2024 dates are old, so check the executed order form before relying on any figure here.

Body
Brackwell Freight Ltd - Proposal
Prepared for: Brackwell Freight Ltd, Manchester Prepared by: Tom Ashdown, Account Executive, BB-Demo Customer success manager: Marcus Bell Date: 14 Oct 2024 Status: Final, version one
Summary
Brackwell Freight has been a BB-Demo customer on the Starter tier since 1 Dec 2023. In that time the brain has become part of how revenue operations and the depot account managers look at their accounts. This proposal sets out how we would move Brackwell Freight from Starter to Growth when the current term ends on 30 Nov 2024, so that the wider depot network gets the same view of accounts, delivery-exception tickets and calls.
In short:
- Move from Starter to the Growth tier at the end of the current term.
- Annual subscription of £44k, replacing the current contracted annual recurring revenue of £20k.
- Keep the existing connectors and add the Growth dashboards builder and quarterly business reviews.
- No change of platform: the brain continues to run inside Brackwell Freight's own Snowflake account.
Where you are today
Read the whole document (5,449 characters)
Brackwell Freight runs road freight and contract warehousing for retailers from Trafford Park and five other depots. You bought the brain so that revenue operations and depot account managers could see accounts, delivery-exception tickets and calls together, and spot at-risk retail contracts early.
What we see in the account:
- Licensed users: the Starter subscription includes 15 licensed users.
- Active use: the number of people using the brain each month has grown sharply against the prior quarter, and it is now concentrated in revenue operations and the depot account managers.
- Support: one ticket in the last month, raised as high priority and handled in the normal way. Nothing is outstanding.
- Billing: no overdue invoices.
That is a healthy picture, and it is the reason we think the next step is a wider rollout, not just more of the same.
What we propose
The Growth tier is built for several teams working from the same brain. For Brackwell Freight it would mean:
- More teams, same brain. Depot managers, revenue operations and customer service work from one shared layer, rather than each team asking for its own extract.
- Higher user and connector allowances. The Growth user allowance and connector allowance are both well above Starter, so the depots that are not yet using the brain can be added without negotiating each seat.
- Dashboards builder. Your own team can build and share dashboards for retail contract health, delivery exceptions and depot performance.
- Quarterly business reviews. Marcus Bell will run a review each quarter covering usage, value delivered, open issues and the plan for the next quarter. Starter customers have a lighter check-in; this is a step up.
- Faster response on serious issues. The Growth service level gives a quicker first response on the highest-priority support issues than Starter does.

Pricing
| Item | Amount |
|---|---|
| Current contracted annual recurring revenue (Starter) | £20k |
| Growth annual subscription | £44k |
The Growth subscription is invoiced annually in advance. The deal amount for this expansion is £44k. If quarterly invoicing would suit your finance team better, we can arrange that on request.
The one-off implementation work for the move, which covers bringing the additional teams and connectors live, is a fixed fee and will be stated on the order form so there are no surprises. I will confirm the exact wording with you before anything is signed.
Timeline and next steps
- Week of 14 Oct 2024: review this proposal with revenue operations and anyone in finance who needs to see it.
- Before the end of October: a call with Marcus and me to agree which depots and teams come first, and which connectors you want live from the start.
- Early November: order form issued under the existing MSA for signature.
- 30 Nov 2024: current Starter term ends, and the Growth term begins straight after.
If the order form is signed in good time, we can start the implementation work before the term changes over, so the extra teams are not waiting.
What we need from Brackwell Freight
- A named sponsor for the wider rollout.
- The list of depots and teams to be added, in priority order.
- Confirmation of any new systems you want connected to the brain.
- Agreement on who will build the first dashboards.
Contacts
- Commercial terms and order form: Tom Ashdown, Account Executive, tom.ashdown@bb-demo.example
- Adoption, reviews and renewal: Marcus Bell, Customer Success Manager
Happy to talk any of this through. No drama if you want to change the shape of it, we would rather get it right than quick.
Cheers, Tom
