Current to 14 Oct 26Linnea Holm asked how to set up role-based access for 160 users across teams so each sees only relevant dashboards. Olivia Grant explained the Settings > Roles interface and offered guided setup.
Problem: Linnea needed to configure granular dashboard access for users across e-commerce, customer service and stores teams. Handling: Olivia confirmed that custom roles with specific dashboard visibility can be created through Settings > Roles, and offered either a written guide or screen-share support. This is a straightforward adoption question showing healthy growth in user base.

Some teams should only see dashboards relevant to their area: e-commerce, customer service, stores, etc. We have 160 users across different departments. How do I configure this? Is it through roles?
- public_reply · Olivia Grant 6 Aug 2026 17:15Hi Linnea, perfect, you can definitely do this with roles. Go to Settings > Roles in the admin panel, and you can create custom roles with specific dashboard visibility. Then assign those roles to users or teams based on their department. I can walk you through the setup with a guide or screen-share if that helps. It should take about an hour to set up all the roles for your teams.
