Current to 13 Oct 26Graham Tovey agreed to an early renewal conversation but only with Siân present. He asked for a one-page note on value, usage and Ofgem complaint handling, and wants only confirmed commercial figures.
Ask: Tom Ashdown proposed a renewal conversation within a couple of weeks. Graham replied that early October would suit him and that he will not discuss a renewal without Siân.
Customer view: he has heard that some teams are using the brain less than they were and wants BB-Demo's view. He also wants to know how complaint handling holds up with Ofgem.
Next: Tom must send the one-page note and coordinate the time with Siân directly. Graham said he will wait for confirmed figures and wants nothing provisional.

- Tom Ashdown 11 Sep 2026 17:05Hello Graham, Thanks for making time on our recent call. As promised, here's the practical bit. Your Enterprise contract runs to 9 Jan 2027, so we're comfortably ahead of it, but I'd rather we got something in the diary now than leave it to the autumn rush. I'd suggest a proper renewal conversation sometime in the next couple of weeks, an hour at most, at your offices in Gloucester or on a video call, whichever suits you. I'd like to cover three things: how the brain is being used across your key-account, collections and complaints teams, what you'd want from the next term, and where the commercial terms stand. On the last one I'll confirm the numbers properly with our team rather than quote anything from memory. I know you'll want Siân's view on all of it, so it would help if she could be there. Let me know who else you'd like in the room. No drama, just want to make sure it's a conversation and not a surprise. Best, Tom Tom Ashdown Account Executive, BB-Demo
- Graham Tovey 14 Sep 2026 13:24Tom, Thank you for your note. I agree it is better to start early. I would rather hear things in good time than late. Siân will attend, and I will not discuss a renewal without her. Please coordinate the time with her directly. Early October would suit me better than later in September. Before we meet, please send me a short written note, one page at most, covering two things. First, what the brain has been doing for our teams this year, in plain terms: what does the customer see, and what do our complaints handlers see? Second, anything about the service or the usage that you think I should hear from you rather than discover myself. I have heard that some teams are using it less than they were, and I would like your view on that. I would also like to understand how the current arrangement holds up with Ofgem, in particular the complaint handling side. Please bring that in. On the commercial terms, I will wait for your confirmed figures. Please do not give me anything provisional. Graham Tovey Chief Customer Officer, Brimscombe Energy
