Current to 11 Oct 26Matteo Ricci proposed a renewal call for the Growth subscription. Matthias Ebner wants the terms, governance, exit plan and cost changes in writing first, and will not decide before information security and procurement have seen them.
Ask: Matteo wanted a thirty minute call about the renewal terms, quoting £50k for forty licensed users and a contract end of 2 Feb 2027. Matthias replied that a call is possible but he wants the paper first.
Customer view: He asked three things: how the service is governed during the term and at renewal, the exit plan including data return and removal from the EU region, and what changes in cost. He will take no decisions before information security and procurement have reviewed it.
Next: Matteo confirmed on 5 Oct 2026 that he will send a short document covering current terms, governance and exit provisions, with any proposal kept separate from what is contracted.

- Matteo Ricci 28 Sep 2026 14:18Dear Matthias, I hope the week has started well. I would rather you heard this from me early: your Growth subscription runs to 2 Feb 2027, and I would like us to find a time to talk through the renewal terms well ahead of that date, so that nothing reaches you as a surprise. The contracted annual value today is £50,000, covering forty licensed users. Before we meet I will put in writing the terms as they stand, what would change at renewal, and the points where we have some room to adjust. You will then have a document you can take to procurement and information security. The operational detail is with your team, and our customer success manager is in regular contact with your head of merchant operations. They would not need to attend unless you prefer it. Could you let me know whether a thirty minute call next week would suit you? Any morning works for me. Best regards, Matteo Matteo Ricci Account Executive, BB-Demo
- Matthias Ebner 30 Sep 2026 14:51Matteo, Thank you. A call is possible, but I would prefer to see the paper first. Please send it in writing before we speak. I would like it to cover the following. How is this governed on your side during the term and at renewal? What is the exit plan if we decide not to continue, in particular how our data is returned and removed from the EU region? And what changes in cost, if anything. I will not take decisions before information security and procurement have seen the document. Matthias Ebner
- Matteo Ricci 5 Oct 2026 08:40Dear Matthias, Thank you for your clear note. Let me confirm that in writing, as you asked. I will send you a short document this week with three parts: the terms as they stand under your current contract, the governance and review arrangements between our teams, and the exit and data return provisions. On cost, I will state exactly what is contracted today and set out any proposal separately, so that the two are not confused. I will copy no one else until you tell me whom you would like included. If your colleagues in information security and procurement would like to see it directly, just give me their roles and I will send it to whoever you name. Once you have had time to read it, we can find a slot for the call. Best regards, Matteo
