Matteo Ricci presented a Starter proposal: £22k annual fee, £6,000 implementation, live in four weeks. Katharina Richter and Jörg Zimmermann asked sensible questions and said the 9 Nov 2026 signing date works.

What happened: Matteo Ricci walked Katharina Richter and Jörg Zimmermann through a Starter proposal: one team, four connectors, a £22k annual fee and a £6,000 implementation over four weeks.

Customer view: Both asked practical questions on users, renewal price, support and commitment. Katharina said the 9 Nov 2026 date works and that she would sync with her team and come back the following week.

Commercial: Katharina asked what happens beyond fifteen users and about moving to a bigger tier. Matteo pointed to ten additional users and a Growth step-up at the first renewal.

Watch: This is a proposal, not executed paper. The evidence does not show that an order form was sent or signed.

Follow-up

Next steps

Current to 9 Oct 26
  • Matteo Ricci to send the order form to Katharina Richter and Jörg Zimmermann.
  • Katharina Richter to confirm with her team and revert.
  • Aim for a signed order form by 9 Nov 2026.

Risks

Current to 9 Oct 26
  • The proposal is an open item until an order form is executed, and the evidence does not show one signed.
  • Fifteen users is a soft limit and the team may outgrow it, which would raise the user-count question at renewal.

Opportunities

Current to 9 Oct 26
  • Additional ten users add-on if the customer success team needs more than fifteen seats.
  • Step-up to Growth at the first renewal for more users, more connectors and quarterly QBRs.

Good morning, Katharina, Jörg. Matteo here. I hope you've had a chance to look at the proposal I sent?
  2. Katharina Richter
    Katharina Richter None
We have, yes. We've reviewed it and I've got a couple of questions.
  3. Matteo Ricci

Great. Let me walk you through it first, then you can fire away. So the scope is Starter: one team, you, your customer success colleagues, everyone who needs to see the risk dashboard. That's our standard limit of fifteen users, though we can flex it a bit if you need more. Four connectors to start: helpdesk, CRM, product usage and one backup connector if you want to add something later. The annual fee is twenty-two thousand. Then there's the one-time implementation fee of six thousand. That's four weeks of work from us to build the connectors, test and train. Total deal value, twenty-eight thousand, implementation included.

And that gets us live in four weeks from signature?
  5. Matteo Ricci
    Matteo Ricci None
Correct. Week one you give us access and we build. Week two we do testing. Week three we train your team. Week four you're live.
  6. Katharina Richter

What if we need more than fifteen users at some point?
  7. Matteo Ricci
    Matteo Ricci None
That's a good question. You can add ten additional users for a fee. It's not expensive, but we'd want to check with you first. Most Starter teams don't outgrow it in year one.
  8. Jörg Zimmermann
    Jörg Zimmermann None
What about the annual renewal? Does it stay at twenty-two?
  9. Matteo Ricci
    Matteo Ricci None
Year one is the full package, the implementation and the subscription. Year two onwards, it's just the subscription, twenty-two thousand annually, and it renews on the same date each year. Assuming you don't change your user count, the price stays the same at renewal.
  10. Katharina Richter
    Katharina Richter None
    Fair. What about support?
  11. Matteo Ricci
    Matteo Ricci None
With Starter you get a four-hour response on standard support. If something critical breaks, we're on it faster. You also get access to our help docs and a six-monthly check-in with your team.
  12. Jörg Zimmermann
    Jörg Zimmermann None
    What's the commitment period?
  13. Matteo Ricci
    Matteo Ricci None
Thirty days from signature. We'd invoice the first year upfront, implementation and subscription together.
  14. Katharina Richter
    Katharina Richter None
And if we wanted to move to a bigger tier later?
  15. Matteo Ricci
    Matteo Ricci None
No problem. At your first renewal: so about a year from go-live: you can step up to Growth if you want more users, more connectors, quarterly QBRs. But you'd be on Starter for year one, and we'd want to see how you're using it before we push an upgrade.
  16. Jörg Zimmermann
    Jörg Zimmermann None
Okay. And when do you need a decision?
  17. Matteo Ricci
    Matteo Ricci None
I'd love to get an order form signed by 9 Nov 2026. That gives us the breathing room we need to start the implementation work smoothly.
  18. Katharina Richter
    Katharina Richter None
That works for us. Let me sync with the team and get back to you next week.
  19. Matteo Ricci
    Matteo Ricci None
Perfect. I'll get the order form over to you by end of day. Anything you want to change or add, just let me know.
  20. Jörg Zimmermann
    Jörg Zimmermann None
    Great. Cheers, Matteo.
  21. Matteo Ricci
    Matteo Ricci None
    Best regards to you both.
